AFONTOVO TV broadcasting channel and production studios is the biggest independent, privately owned media entity of this kind in Siberia.

Broadcasting 24/7 with own and licensed content, AFONTOVO is the leading studios in its market niche for more than 24 years,

AFONTOVO is privately owned by UNITMEDIA Group, LLC and recently experienced needs in re-branding and series of creative developments and marketing initiatives before the new broadcasting season launch.

In particular the morning talk show – “Morning Coffee with AFONTOVO” needed to be revived and refurbished: from video design component to scheduling and editorial directions in general.

The Challenge

For the new 2015 broadcasting season whole studio’s interior needed to be restyled and rebuilt as well as number of daily shows needed repackaging. That included re-branding and number of other production-related tasks. Challenge was to do it all based on provided general style guide.

Also, for the season of 2016 digital solution for SmartTV implementation has to be designed.

The Solution

As a Creative Director and Chief Design Officer of the media holding UNITMEDIA Group, LLC,, the owner of the TV channel and TV studio AFONTOVO, I was in charge of all visual aspects of the new season launch, including art directions for all video advertisement for the season and re-branding.

Unassisted completed the interior re-design for the studio and UI/UX design for the SmartTV AFONTOVO application.
